This project was born from the desire to highlight a fundamental aspect of Trentino's cultural identity: oral tradition. This rich and diverse heritage offers deep insights that help us fully appreciate the beauty of the region through imagery, metaphors, and symbols.

Inspired by this, I decided to explore the Dolomitic legend "La Leggenda dei Monti Pallidi" and bring it to life through an animated short, making it accessible to everyone via the powerful medium of animation.

The legend seeks to explain the unique nature of the Dolomites. According to ancient local beliefs, their distinct color came from the Moon. Today, we know that the so-called "Pale Mountains" are made of dolomite, a rock that stands out for its characteristic light color.
